Книги всегда были важнейшим элементом жизни наших предков. Библиотека собиралась десятилетиями и даже веками. Разумеется, разные поколения предков интересовались разными сферами науки и литературы, поэтому библиотека Драконберга весьма разнообразна по составу. К сожалению, условия проживания не всегда позволяли сохранить накопленное, ведь книги занимают очень много места, а также устаревают морально и физически. Среди книг библиотеки попадались и случайные экземпляры, и книги-однодневки. На протяжении прошлого века предки нынешних граждан были вынуждены неоднократно проводить ревизию имеющейся литературы, последняя ревизия проводилась уже в 21 веке. Сейчас литературный фонд Драконберга насчитывает около 3000 экземпляров, от весьма больших фолиантов до миниатюрных карманных изданий. Библиотека содержит не только художественные произведения, но и много научно-технической литературы, а также мемуары известных личностей. Среди хранящихся в фондах книг есть издания 19-21 веков, но большинство книг издано в середине и конце 20 века. Со временем планируется оцифровка особо интересных изданий и создание виртуального читального зала. Некоторые книги имеют дарственные надписи от авторов, что делает их особо ценными для граждан Драконберга. Сейчас бумажные книги утратили свое значение, библиотека нашего государства тоже практически перестала пополняться, все граждане предпочитают читать цифровые издания. Однако, бумажные книги имеют свою прелесть и даже сейчас в некоторых случаях мы стараемся пополнять библиотеку бумажными изданиями. Books have always been an essential element of the life of our ancestors. The library was gathered decades and even centuries. Of course, different generations of ancestors were interested in different spheres of science and literature, so Drakonberg library is very diverse in composition. Unfortunately, living conditions not always allowed to keep everything accumulated, because books take up a lot of space, and outdated morally and physically. Among the books of the library there were also incidental books, that are not of interest. Over the last century, the ancestors of the citizens were forced to repeatedly perform the audit of the available literature, the last revision was carried out in the 21st century. Currently, the literary fund of Drakonberg has about 3000 copies, from very large folios to tiny pocket books. The Library contains not only fiction books, but also a lot of scientific literature, and the memoirs of famous personalities. Among the books stored in the Library there are also books published in 19th century, but most of the books of the Library was published in the mid and late of 20th century. Some part was published already in the 21st century. Over time, it is planned to digitize the most interesting books and create a virtual reading room. Some books have dedicatory inscriptions by authors, which makes them especially valuable for Drakonberg citizens. Nowadays, the paper books have lost their significance, most of modern citizens of Drakonberg prefer to read digital editions, therefore the Library practically ceased to be replenished. However, the paper book has its own charm, and even now, in some cases, we try to supplement the Library with paper books.
